Kaitlin Webster (she/they)

CEO and Artistic Director of Incite Dance Company

Teaching focus |  Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Choreography

Dance Journey | Since she could talk, Kaitlin has told anyone and everyone that she would be a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Incite Dance Center is her long-awaited dream. Kaitlin holds a BFA in Performance and Choreography from Cornish College of the Arts where she performed works by Robert Battle and Merce Cunningham. Highlights of her professional career include assisting commercial classes in LA, seven years as a Company Member for Chicago Dance Crash (Rehearsal Director for the last two), and touring internationally in Kobe, Japan. She has been an instructor and the Director of Boulder Dance Workshop and continues to choreograph on Chicago companies. Her vast experience of the dance world has helped develop her athletic, powerful, and distinctive style. As a dance educator for over 10 years, Kaitlin teaches her students to have deep respect for the history of dance, themselves, and each other. She is passionate about training the next generation of dancers to change the world!

WOW factor | Kaitlin’s first dance gig was in 3rd grade as the opening act for Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen on the Disney Cruise Line.


OUR TEAM

We have the best instructors in the North Shore, hands down. All of our instructors are experts in their fields and only teach their expertise. We train our teachers to use age-appropriate music, gender-affirming and body-positive language, and teach the racial and historical context of dance.

Margaret Johnson (she/her)

Incite Dance Collective Director

Teaching focus |  Modern, Preschool, POMSQUAD™ Fitness, Contemporary

Dance Journey | Margaret is a choreographer, filmmaker, educator and performer and has spent the last eight years dancing through Seattle. Margaret holds a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts. As a queer artist and educator, she works hard to create a safe space for her students to express themselves in new ways and loves that moment you can see a lightbulb go off in a kid’s head. She believes dance brings people together and provides a sense of community. We are so proud to have Margaret at INCITE!

WOW factor | Margaret is ALSO an amazing crafter and costume designer and has an Etsy shop called MoodyMargs!

Molly Smith (they/them)

Teaching Focus | Tap, Musical Theater

Dance Journey | Molly Smith (they/them) has a BS in Dance & Arts Management from Oklahoma City University and has been a company member of Chicago Tap Theatre since 2018. Molly has been teaching dance for nearly a decade and loves getting to grow with their students! Molly is a choreographer and dancemaker, presenting works recently through Take Up Space Dance Festival, The Newport Theater, and Poonie’s Cabaret at Links Hall. They are on faculty at Activate Your Artistry dance convention. Molly also has experience in company management, stage management, production management, and arts administration for various theaters throughout Chicagoland, and they are Director of Production down the road at Theo Ubique.

WOW factor | Molly is also a co-founder of/musician in THEM queers band where they tap alongside a multi-instrumentalist!


Monternez “Monte” Rezell (he/him)

Teaching focus |  Hip Hop

Dance Journey | Monternez "Monte" Rezell is the founder and Artistic director of Movement Revolution Dance Crew (MRDC). As a street dancer raised on the south side of Chicago, he began dancing and performing as a child and continues to practice and perform all styles of hip hop dance, break dance and tumbling. As a teaching and performing artist, he has traveled across the US and the world, including to Jamaica, China, Germany, France, Canada and more. He has been featured on America's Got Talent, selected for the USA dance team and competed in the Dance Olympics. His dance credits include MRDC, Chicago Dance Crash, Stick and Move dance crew, Culture Shock Chicago, and Hip Hop Connexion. In 2021 Monte and his crew made Chicago dance history by becoming the first Hip Hop Street Dance choreographer to be selected to perform at Dance For Life 30th Anniversary.

Rachel Premo (she/her)

Teaching focus |  Ballet, Pointe, Stretch + Strength

Dance Journey | Rachel holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Northern Illinois University. Rachel's previous performances include numerous Art for Life Benefits, Giselle, featured roles in Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker, Pas de Quatre Ballet, Raymonda, and as an aerial silk dancer in L'Histoire du Soldat. Most recently she has performed with Madison Ballet, Ballet Entre Nous, and Elements Contemporary Ballet. Premo has been teaching classical ballet and contemporary styles for 18 years in the northern Illinois and Chicagoland areas. Rachel’s choreography has been seen at Freespace, Dance Chance, Project Bound, Dance in the Parks and Ardent Dance Company. Premo is currently in her 5th season with Ardent Dance Company and holds the titles of full Company Member and Rehearsal Director. We are so proud to have Rachel at INCITE!

Brooke Winegardner (she/her)

Teaching focus |  Preschool, Lyrical

Dance Journey | Brooke began her dance journey in Oklahoma where she competed and fell in love with all things theatre. She studied jazz, ballet, tap, and musical theatre techniques at Oklahoma City University where she earned her B.S. in Dance and Arts Management. She has performed with the American Spirit Dance Company, with the Spirit of Grace Dance Company, with the Dance Divas benefiting the Chicago Dancers' Fund, and in multiple choreography showcases. Brooke unexpectedly fell in love with teaching dance shortly after graduating. Since then, she has taught tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and musical theatre to all ages.

WOW factor | Brooke has fostered so many kittens, she can’t remember all their names! (Once, she had SEVEN at the same time!)

Lucas (Luke) Greeff (ze/he/they)

Teaching focus |  Acro, Modern

Dance Journey | Luke is a choreographer, circus artist, dancer, and educator whose work focuses on expanding the scope of queer & neurodivergent performance, engaging inherent energies, and challenging physical extremity through movement experiment. Luke's past choreographic works include (Z)im, Missile Kid, Bo(ix)y(e) Division, Carnal Inferno, Spectrum, and Trapping Butterflies. Former dancer for St. Petersburg Ballet Company, Fletcher Dance Project, Level Dance Company, and Joel Hall Dancers; Luke’s ongoing affiliations include Yes Ma’am Circus, Reminiscent Circus, Lucid Banter Project, Synapse Arts, Incite Dance Center, Aloft Circus Arts, Khecari, and Thwack Dance. Ze is the recipient of the 2023 Twisted Windows LGBTQIA+ Artist Award presented by the Chicago Circus & Performing Arts Festival, as well as a 2024 Ragdale resident artist, and 2024 Studio Series artist with Synapse Arts. Luke is the co-founder and director of Such Creatures, and works as an educator to develop expansive & accessible pedagogy to support all ages, identities and experiences both on the ground and in the air. Visit @missile.kid on Instagram to learn more.

Rae Beck (she/her)

Teaching Focus | Jazz, Hip Hop

Rae recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Dance. At the University, she earned the opportunity to perform and choreograph for many venues. Rae loves teaching and working with people of all ages and backgrounds! Rae is so excited to share her knowledge and passion for dance at Incite Dancer Center!

Frances Christon

Front Desk Maven

Dance Journey | Frances started ballet at 3 years old. She started learning dance from Incite CEO Kaitlin Webster in 3rd grade and went on to dance competitively throughout middle and high school. Once Incite opened, Frances immediately signed up for classes, eventually dancing at Incite every single day as well as being on our competition team. After graduating from Incite, Frances continues to dance anywhere she can and is proud to continue to be part of the community that she loves. These days you can catch her at the Front Desk and in our adult dance classes!

WOW Factor | Frances became a local celebrity after starring as “The Wolf '' in Incite’s very first recital: Blown Away: The Not-So-Classic Story of the Three Little Pigs. 


Taylor Pokorny

Front Desk Maven

Dance Journey | Taylor is a creative person and loves experimenting with different creative outlets, but dance was always something she was unfamiliar with. Her cousin is a dancer at Incite and after attending the 2022 Recital she was amazed and intrigued! Taylor is so excited to be working at Incite and can’t wait to begin her dance journey alongside some incredible and talented people!

Madeline Brown

Administrative Assistant for Incite Dance Company

Dance Journey | Madeline started dancing when she was young with Incite CEO Kailtin Webster and danced competitively through high school. She recently graduated as a dance major at the University of Arizona and her favorite style of dance is jazz but contemporary is a close second. She has been helping the studio since day 1 when it opened back in 2021. She loves all things dance studios, from spreadsheets, to scheduling, to community building, to dancing and more! She is proud to be a part of the amazing dance community that INCITE fosters!
