You + Me
We encourage our youngest dancers and their adults to wear clothes that allow them to move and feel confident!
Attendance and Make-Up Class Policy:
Absences:
Please inform the studio in advance of any absences. We will work with you to schedule a make-up class when available. If no make-up class is available, we will not refund the missed class.
If excessive absences occur in our Spring Semester the student may not be allowed to participate in our Recital.
Late Policy:
If a student is more than 15 minutes late to a technique class, they will be asked to observe that class to ensure dancer safety. If you are able, let us know that you will be late and we can prepare the teacher!
Makeup Class Policy:
Only 4 makeup classes will be offered per class per session
Must be the same or lower level class
Must be scheduled within 24 hours of the planned class
Can be a different genre — with exceptions
You cannot use a makeup class to try Acro
Makeup classes expire when the session ends or if you drop the class
Levels:
Incite Dance Center believes in challenging dancers while staying safe and having fun! Levels will be based on age and experience. INCITE instructors and directors will have the ultimate say in dancer placement. Students should expect to be in the same level for 2 years. If you have any questions- please feel free to contact us! We are happy to talk about appropriate leveling.
** Any student age 14+ can participate in our Advanced Classes if they take a minimum of 2 hours of dance per week at Incite OR any comparable program which includes high school dance programs and outside studios, pending teacher approval. We truly believe in DANCE FOR ALL with no dance discipline being more valuable than another.
Many studios see dancers drop out of their programs in high school due to inflexible policies and narrow views of success in dance. We believe dance can be a life-long passion and will make it easy and safe for high school dancers to choose the amount of dance they want in their lives.
